SINTREX® are lightweight expanded rigid PET sheets which are based on a new and innovative manufacturing technology for large-format sheet materials.
Intensive research and development into innovative, pioneering materials has resulted in a printing substrate that combines numerous benefits, such as excellent printability with all conventional printing technologies and outstanding fire properties.
SINTREX® sheets have unique, natural white surfaces. Processing is quick and easy, moreover they feature particularly good weather resistance and hence are also suitable for outdoor use.
The fire behaviour is for the 5 mm version according to EN 13501-1: B-s1, d0, for the 10 mm version according to EN 13501-1: B-s2,d0. This makes SINTREX® ideal for a wide range of different applications, especially where special fire regulations are required. Public areas, in particular, often require more stringent preventive fire measures. For example, areas of application for signage and displays include airports, trade shows, shopping centres, public buildings and in shopfitting.
