The Aluminium F Section is a rigid, durable profile designed to secure the outer edges of multiwall polycarbonate sheets in roofing installations, particularly lean-to roofs. Shaped like the letter “F”, the profile is fitted to the first and last rafters. The polycarbonate sheet slots securely into the profile, while the flat section is fixed directly to the rafter with screws, helping to create a stable and secure roof edge.

Aluminium Foil Tape is designed for use on the upper end of multiwall polycarbonate sheets. It is typically applied where the sheet fits beneath the eaves of a house or other structure, keeping the taped edge concealed and protected from direct exposure to the elements. This micron-thin tape features a silver aluminium foil finish on one side and a strong, high-tack adhesive on the other, providing secure application to the sheet.

Roof Fixing Buttons are designed to secure multiwall polycarbonate sheets to intermediate rafters where Capex glazing bars are not used. Each fixing consists of a metal screw, foam washer, moulded PVC button and cover cap. The button is installed by drilling through the multiwall sheet, inserting the fixing and carefully tightening the screw into place.

Capex Glazing Bar is a slightly raised aluminium profile designed to secure and join multiwall polycarbonate sheets. Supplied by Irish manufacturer Exitex, it features a gasket strip along each side of the bar to support a secure installation. The glazing bar is most commonly fitted horizontally over the joint where two polycarbonate sheets meet on a rafter. It can also be installed vertically for greenhouse, outhouse and shed applications.
