Multiwall Polycarbonate Breather Tape
Breather Tape is designed to seal the open ends of multiwall polycarbonate sheets while allowing the internal channels, or flutes, to ventilate correctly.
The tape features adhesive edges that secure it over the end of the sheet, while its finely perforated centre allows air and condensation to pass through. This helps the sheet channels breathe while reducing the entry of dirt, dust and insects.
Breather Tape is normally applied to the lower, gutter-facing end of a multiwall roofing sheet. Once installed, it should be protected with a compatible PVC U Profile or Roof Sheet End Closure to provide a neat finish and shield the tape from weather and physical damage.
