Capex Snap Down 10–25 Glazing Bar
The Capex Snap Down 10–25 is a practical and cost-effective glazing bar designed for installing multiwall polycarbonate sheets on roof canopies, lean-to roofs, shelters and similar structures.
A variant of the standard Capex Bar, the system combines a rigid, flat aluminium base bar with a UV-stable PVC snap-down cover. The polycarbonate sheets are positioned on the aluminium base before the PVC cover is clipped securely into place, creating a neat and reliable joint between adjoining panels.
The glazing bar is particularly useful when the supporting rafters run horizontally while the polycarbonate sheets must be installed vertically, with their internal channels running down the slope of the roof. Its rigid base provides stable support and helps maintain accurate sheet positioning during installation.

Transport and Collection
The Capex Snap Down Bar has a rigid aluminium base and cannot be bent or rolled. It should therefore be transported lying flat and fully supported to prevent damage.
Customers collecting the product will require approximately 3 m or 5 m of clear horizontal loading space, depending on the selected bar length. Please confirm that the collection vehicle is suitable before travelling.
Please note: Select the correct bar length and ensure the chosen polycarbonate sheet is between 10 mm and 25 mm thick. Installation should follow the relevant roofing and glazing recommendations.
