Edge - Tex Tape 3mm 14mm x 25m

EDGE-Tex Tape is a self-adhesive fabric edging strip designed to secure printed textile graphics into the channels of aluminium LED, backlit and front-lit display frames.

Applied directly to the reverse of the printed fabric, EDGE-Tex creates a clean, flat and tensioned graphic without the need for industrial sewing equipment. The adhesive backing allows the strip to be positioned by hand and pressed firmly into place before the finished edge is inserted into the frame channel.

It is an ideal solution for print businesses that produce fabric graphics but do not have specialist finishing equipment or prefer to complete the finishing process in-house. EDGE-Tex is also convenient for on-site adjustments and repairs, allowing graphics to be resized or corrected during installation.

Basic Application Instructions

1. Measure the frame and cut the printed fabric approximately 25mm oversized.
2. Cut four lengths of EDGE-Tex approximately 10mm shorter than each side of the frame.
3. Remove the backing paper and position EDGE-Tex on the reverse of the graphic.
4. Adjust the position if necessary and remove excess material from the corners.
5. Press the tape firmly using a roller to create a strong bond.
6. Fold the fabric around EDGE-Tex and insert the finished edge into the frame channel with the adhesive facing inward.
