PVC U Profile – Roof Sheet End Closure
The PVC U Profile, also known as a Roof Sheet End Closure or RSC, is designed to fit over the exposed end of a multiwall polycarbonate roofing sheet. It creates a neat, finished appearance while helping protect the breather tape and internal sheet channels from weather, dirt and insects.
During installation, multiwall polycarbonate sheets should be positioned with their internal channels running down the slope of the roof. This allows condensation and moisture to drain towards the gutter end. After the lower cut edge has been sealed with suitable breather tape, the U Profile is push-fitted securely over the taped end.
The upper end of the sheet is normally sealed with foil tape and positioned beneath an existing eave, flashing or another suitable glazing profile. For this reason, a U Profile is generally installed only at the exposed gutter end of the sheet.

Installation note: Select a profile that matches the thickness of the polycarbonate sheet. Apply suitable breather tape to the lower end of the sheet before fitting the profile, and ensure the sheet channels run in the direction of the roof slope.
